Italian Craftsmanship
Each Interno 8 Roma shirt is created through a slow, considered artisanal process that values precision over speed. Our meticulous dedication to craftsmanship spans six weeks, from sourcing the finest fabrics to final production. Entrusted to skilled Italian ateliers, much of the work is done by hand, bringing each design to life with attention to detail and care. Traditional machines are used only when appropriate and always under full manual control, ensuring every seam is finished with the same care and responsibility.
Exceptional materials and construction define the final result. We use Corozo buttons, double-twisted 100% cotton fabrics for strength and softness, and fully sanforized textiles to ensure lasting shape and comfort. For warmer climates, Irish linen is selected for its breathability and refined texture. Our fit, developed and refined over more than 35 years, balances structure and comfort, with reinforced collars and cuffs that hold their shape without stiffness. The result is a shirt defined by consistency, durability, and craftsmanship that becomes more evident with time.

The shirts are designed to move effortlessly between business casual and smart casual settings. Their clean lines, balanced structure, and thoughtful detailing allow them to stand confidently on their own for a relaxed, everyday look, while also providing a strong foundation for more formal styling. Our Journey
Angelo Galasso was born in Puglia, Italy and shaped by a culture where discipline, creativity, and craftsmanship naturally coexisted. After moving to Rome in the 1980s, he began his professional life in banking, while quietly pursuing a lifelong fascination with fabrics, tailoring, and shirtmaking.
From his apartment in Parioli — Interno 8 — Angelo started designing shirts for friends, colleagues, and clients. What began as a personal exploration quickly revealed a deeper purpose: rethinking the shirt through uncompromising materials, precise construction, and thoughtful innovation.
Interno 8 Roma draws from this origin. Rooted in Rome, shaped by decades of experience, and defined by an enduring commitment to Italian craftsmanship. Today, the brand continues this legacy by creating shirts that value substance over excess, innovation guided by tradition, and timeless design made for modern, worldly lives.
